REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT

NOAH’s Real Estate Development Department addresses the ongoing housing crisis and the great need for safe and affordable housing in the Greater Boston region. We add to the affordable housing infrastructure by constructing new units, by rehabilitating vacant schools or other structures, and by upgrading existing residential property and then renting or selling these new homes to low- to moderate-income community members.

With its partners, NOAH recently completed 30 units
of affordable housing in Holliston at Cutler Heights!

Current NOAH Projects

Cutler Heights, Holliston		Stevens Corner, North Andover
This affordable project created 30 new rental homes for families. The State funded this development using TCAP monies. NOAH partnered with JNJUHL Associates and the Holliston Housing Development Corporation on this Town-supported building. Construction has been completed.		NOAH received State financing for this affordable housing rehabilitation project. We are converting an abandoned nursing home into 42 apartments for families. Construction will be finished by fall 2011.
Benfield Farms, Carlisle		Sitkowski School, Webster
NOAH was selected by the Housing Authority to build a 26-unit, independent living, affordable senior community in Carlisle on 42 acres of land purchased by the Town for housing, recreation space, and conservation land/trails.		NOAH was chosen by the Town of Webster through a competitive process to renovate the historic Sitkowski School building into 66 units of independent-living senior affordable housing and a new 9,000 square foot senior center.

Border-Falcon Condominiums		Meridian Condominiums
This 14-unit complex in East Boston overlooks the working harbor and boasts a rain garden, balconies and underground parking.		Five modern condominium units were created at a convenient location on Meridian Street in East Boston.
